To Every Mom there is a Season

Well, as Mother’s Day approaches I thought I’d give it a whirl and try to write something to celebrate “motherhood”. We all know that after becoming a mother that time is forever changing. The seasons of life come and go and I’m praying that we as moms learn and grow along the way. I have based this writing off the verse in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.
“To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.”……..
To Every Mom there is a Season
A time to conceive, and a time to give birth;
A time to give, and a time to take away;
A time to clean, and a time to go play;
A time to hold on, and a time to let go;
A time to sleep, and a time to pray;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to cry, and a time to laugh;
A time to walk by their side, and a time to follow close behind;
A time to cook, and a time to call for drive-through;
A time to affirm, and a time to scold;
A time to speak, and a time to listen;
A time to press on, and a time to be still;
A time for routine, and a time for flexibility;
A time for sickness, and a time for healthiness;
A time for work, and a time for rest;
A time to bring home, and a time to adopt;
To everything there is a season.
No matter what season you may be in right now, please know that you have one of the greatest privileges in the whole world. You get to be someone’s Mom
Happy Mother’s Day
